First Semester Reflection
1. Quality of work
Through the beginning of the year my work has become better but has made a turn into more of what i like instead of what the audience may like. An example would be the American Gothic in which i remade the old man and woman into 2 characters from resident evil and overall gave the image a more sinister look whilst still in my opinion looks like the original two characters. There has been some cases where i haven't paid attention to the requirements of the format however i have gotten better in adapting my project to the format and paying attention. I have been very good at keeping my projects and finishing them before or on the due date with only one or two slip ups. A few times i have made the project go a bit further than what was necessary such as my dragon silhouette in which i added a reflection to the water beneath the dragon so i made two silhouettes along with a small lighting effect from the fire.
2. Effort
I like to Challenge myself from time to time if i find an idea i like and i want to make it look amazing and stunning. At most times during an explanation of the project i go through many ideas before finding the one i think will look the best and will be interesting to create. There has been many cases where i have changed a project entirely from one small detail to scrapping the idea and going to a new idea since it didn't look as good as it did in my head. There has been times where i have been jealous that my hard work wasn't as popular as other artwork however i am proud of my work overall.
5. Adjustment
What are you going to do differently in the 2nd Semester?

3. Participation
I am always early to class and have never been late. I work around the clock constantly unless i have completed my project. I have always been ready to work independently and don't have an issue with it. I usually stay on task with a few straying moments where i do get distracted. However i do get back on task shortly.

I have seen as i have created artwork that i lean more to the video game style or fantasy style. using references from game to incorporate into my projects such as the American Gothic, The animation Gif, and the Victorian art. I have gained more confidence in what i do since i find it to be original and nobody else in the class would think of it. I have found quicker and more various ways to fix the image and enhance it via design wise or fixing errors.

I plan on getting my assignments done quicker. I also plan on making more in depth photos along with doing my own style as well. I also want to make my projects more in depth and challenge myself. I may also want to make projects that everyone will understand instead of just the gamers in my projects. I want to get the class approval and vote on best assignment next semester.
